The Ypres Salient has many hundreds of memorials to individuals, units and actions.

There are more than 170 British cemeteries at Ypres from the small burial grounds in places like The Bluff to the huge Tyne Cot Cemetery. There are also cemeteries of many other nations, including Belgium, France and Germany.

Ypres is rich in battlefield history. This section of the site details some of the main places to visit.
